Storm Cleanup Plan & Traffic Calming Meeting
Please check back for updates & please plan to help with the clean up if you are able (see below). Thank you!
Dear Crystal Ridge Homeowners: 1. Crystal Ridge neighborhood storm cleanup scheduled for Feb 11-12
Last week’s snow and ice storm caused widespread tree damage, including broken and fallen limbs. The City of Puyallup has informed the HOA Board that clearing of debris is our responsibility. In order to facilitate this process in an efficient and cost effective manner, the CRHOA Board will have a chipper and a truck in the neighborhood on Feb 11-12 beginning at 9 a.m. and will have a crew ready to assist in disposing of tree debris. Our plan is to start at the entrance on Crystal Ridge Drive, and make our way through the neighborhood.
We ask that you assist the neighborhood by bringing all tree debris to the chipper when it reaches your area on that day. Whoever is able, please help those who are not physically able to discard their own debris. If you’d like to help on the crew, please meet at 9:00 am at the corner of Crystal Ridge Dr. and 20th on each of these days. Please bring rakes, brooms, chain saws, and wear gloves and eye and ear protection.
Thank you for doing your part to help us restore our neighborhood to its original beauty.
2. Traffic calming meeting scheduled for March 6, 7:00 pm at the Puyallup Public Library A new developer has purchased the Puyallup Highlands property and are moving quickly toward construction. Several houses have already been started, and more will soon start. As you may know, several years ago, the homeowners in Crystal Ridge successfully negotiated a traffic calming plan designed to minimize the impact of increased traffic from the Highlands on our neighborhood. This plan has been updated, including the use of newer technology traffic calming devices and methods. In order to move forward, the HOA Board of Directors feels that it is critical to get homeowner input on the new plan. We are therefore inviting all homeowners to the March 6 Board Meeting to focus on this issue. A technical expert in traffic mitigation will be on hand to present and explain the new plan and answer questions. Our goal will be to provide input and make our recommendation for the new plan. Please join us on March 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the Puyallup Public Library to discuss this very important topic. Board of Directors Crystal Ridge Homeowners Association.
