What is the policy for fireworks in Crystal Ridge and Puyallup?

    A:   
   

   Fireworks are controlled and monitored by the Puyallup Police & Fire Department.  
 
  The Puyallup Police Department partners with Pierce County Fire and Rescue and usually do firework emphasis patrols on July 3rd and 4th. 

 

   July 4th Firework codes and restrictions:
 
   - Puyallup Municipal Code for Fireworks

    Note paragraph -  (3)  It is unlawful for a person to ignite, discharge, use or explode any common fireworks except between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. on July 4th

    

    - Pierce County Fireworks Code

       Note paragaph - C. Dangerous Fireworks Prohibited. It is unlawful for any person to sell, possess, transport, use, or explode any fireworks classified as dangerous within the unincorporated area of the County except as permitted by RCW Chapter 70.77. Any person found in violation of this Section shall be subject to the penalties prescribed in RCW 70.77.
